Baltimore Washington Medical Center was one of the first community hospitals to require all of its physicians to be board certified in their individual specialties. The tradition of quality innovation continued when the hospital created one of the first clinical pathway programs designed to decrease variation in quality and improve patient safety.
Our medical staff includes board-certified physicians in every major specialty and subspecialty. Our capabilities are augmented through our affiliation with the University of Maryland School of Medicine, giving patients access to academic physicians and cutting-edge medicine.
